The opportunity:

Global Talent 2020’s award-winning, rapidly growing Hospitality client is looking for an experienced Project Manager to join their business for their next planned evolution of supported strategic growth. This role will report into the Projects Director, and help deliver new, class leading, restaurant, Bars and Hotel operation venues in their expanding venue portfolio across Scotland.

Project Leadership & Delivery:

  • Take full ownership of projects from feasibility and design through preconstruction, build and handover.
  • Champion the Buzzworks brand, ensuring every development enhances operational performance and elevates guest experience.
  • Build and manage detailed project programmes, schedules and reporting structures.
  • Drive proactive risk management and resolve issues before they impact delivery.
  • Provide clear, consistent updates to Directors on progress, performance and key decisions.

Financial & Commercial Management:

  • Manage capital project budgets typically exceeding £2m.
  • Lead procurement, tendering and contractor selection with a commercially astute approach.
  • Oversee cost plans, valuations, variations and financial forecasting.
  • Ensure projects land on budget and deliver strong commercial returns.
  • Uphold robust contract management and ensure full compliance with contractual obligations.

Design Coordination & Quality Assurance:

  • Collaborate closely with Directors, designers and specialist consultants to bring concepts to life.
  • Protect design intent throughout development and ensure seamless translation onsite.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, workmanship and specification compliance.
  • Provide operational insight to ensure layouts support service flow and guest experience.
  • Drive quality standards from first sketch to final signoff.

Compliance, Safety & Regulatory Requirements:

  • Ensure all developments meet Planning, Building Control, Licensing and statutory requirements.
  • Fulfil client duties under CDM Regulations and uphold the highest Health & Safety standards.
  • Work with contractors to maintain safe, wellmanaged project environments.
  • Support our clients sustainability and energyefficiency commitments.

Stakeholder Engagement & Communication:

  • Chair project meetings, ensuring accurate documentation, minutes and action tracking.
  • Build strong, positive relationships with contractors, consultants, suppliers and internal teams.
  • Foster a “one team” culture that drives collaboration and shared success.
  • Maintain transparent, timely communication at every stage of the project lifecycle.

Operational Readiness & Handover:

  • Coordinate snagging, inspections and completion processes for a smooth, stressfree handover.
  • Support venue teams in preparing for launch, ensuring operational needs are fully met.
  • Lead postcompletion reviews and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

What You Bring:

  • Proven experience delivering hospitality, leisure or accommodation projects valued £2m+.
  • 10+ years’ project management experience from feasibility through to handover.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, procurement routes and contract administration.
  • Solid knowledge of Building Regulations, statutory approvals and Health & Safety requirements.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to balance creative design ambition with commercial and operational realities.
  • Highly organised, detaildriven and confident in problemsolving.
  • Flexibility to travel across Scotland with regular presence at our clients HQ in the central belt.
