The role:

Global Talent 2020 are proudly working with one of Scottish Borders’ leading luxury Hotel operators at their beautifully appointed venue in Kelso. This stunning venue is looking for an ambitious, proven Sales Executive looking to step up to the Sales Manager level for their quality-focused Hotel and Leisure operations. With the focus to drive Hotel and Leisure sales.

The Sales Manager will primarily lead, support, and oversee the sales functions of the property.

As part of this quality-focused friendly team, you will help them to grow the presence of the brand and property in the local, Scottish, UK, and global markets primarily with hotels, Golf, Spa, Leisure, and F&B uptake in their quality-focused restaurants.

You will be working closely with the Director of Sales & Marketing, to actively contribute to the FIT, Groups, GTO, and Corporate strategy for the property. Working with leisure and corporate clients and agents to ensure the property is in consideration for 5-star events while creating strong lasting relationships with existing and potential new clients.

Overseeing and coordinating the Hotels Sales posts across all social media channels, helping drive the consistent luxury standards of service, in line with brand expectations, that leaves the customer with a positive experience with their visit. Whilst, investigating and identifying new and innovative opportunities in line with market trends.

You will be used to being customer-facing and able to communicate concisely, empathically, and be approachable at all times in person and when required virtually. Interacting with guests in a warm, professional, and empathic manner in line with the high-quality standards of the business.

Global Talent 2020’s client is also offering a hybrid working model for the successful candidate, with 3 days a week working from home or on business development visits.

The person:

A “self-starter”, with a dogged focused, well-organised mind. possessing a positive outgoing personality, driven to achieve consistent high service standards and results. This is a multi-tasking role, in a stunning Hotel environment. The client requires the candidate to possess first-class people soft skills, with engagement with customers, clients, OTA’s, Third Parties, and colleagues alike.
