Global Talent 2020 are proudly working with a Luxury historic hotel estate near the Scottish borders. They are looking for a Spa and Leisure Manager to open and lead their luxury facility at their hotel estate. Our client is looking for a Spa and Leisure Manager to drive the standards of the venue ensuring that the reputation and gravitas are always upheld.

The role:
The Spa and Leisure Manager will report to the General Manager, across the luxury Spa and Leisure facilities, and wellness environment and provide a 5-star experience for guests. They will create and implement the pre-opening operations and develop the spa brand to be industry-leading. They will establish and develop relationships within the sector in local and regional areas and drive revenue from additional sources like membership and product sales.
You will be used to being customer-facing and lead similar 5-star Spa operations by example. With an eye for detail, remembering to repeat customers/regulars, whilst being alive to maximize commercial opportunities. You will manage a team of 15 staff across the facilities including 3 treatment rooms, Spa, and Swimming Pool. You must have an understanding of a departmental P&L, stock controls, pool safety, health &safety, training, and development, whilst possessing first-class people soft skills, and communication skills are prerequisites for this established reputable business.
The person:

Possessing a positive personality, driven to achieve high service standards and results. This is a multi-tasking role, in an amazing rural location. You need to be someone used to always keeping their fingers on the pulse of an operation.
The client requires the candidate to possess first-class people soft skills, with an ability to engage with customers and colleagues alike. This role requires experience within a luxury Spa and Leisure environment, pool plan qualifications, and pool responder training.
