Global Talent 2020 are proudly working with our Asset Management client across their portfolio of varied property projects in stunning Scotland. Due to the nature of their involvements in properties and venues, our client is always on the lookout for Chefs at all levels for quality focused 4/5 star Hotel full service operations.
Therefore we are keen to hear from Chef candidates looking to lead, or be part of dedicated brigades, whilst producing food to one/two rosette level menus across restaurants, bars, and conference and banqueting suites, within the diverse properties and projects coming on for 2021.
Our Asset Management clients at Global Talent 2020, are looking for a real leaders in the kitchen, Chefs whom will harness the talent of the brigades around them, utilise the kitchen facilities to their advantage, and produce excellent fresh produce for the end benefit of the diners, across their varied business projects.
The ideal Chef candidates must have had prior experience of producing up to 1/2 rosette level food, or 3, or 4 AA star rated Hotel/Restaurant background are desired by our asset management client across their varied business venues.
You will need to be highly approachable in personality, as you will be able to interact with other department heads, as well as guests on occasion. They require all levels of Chefs, that are keen to train, coach, and mentor their teams, and evolve others; as well as the food services offered.
Seasonality, using the best of the region and country has to offer, are also part of the ethos of our clients property assets, and projects.
As a Chef, you must also be someone that not only has strong culinary ability, presentation skills, food innovation skills, but someone that is an effective manager of the kitchen environment, including recent Covid-19 understanding, health and safety, COSHH, RIDDOR, recruitment, training and development, and possess strong cost & budgetary control skill sets.
It is very important to our client at Global Talent 2020, that interested Chef candidates are approachable at all times, whilst maintaining the highest levels of standards in place for service quality and consistency, across our Asset Managements projects and venues.
As part of the selection process, you will be required to attend where feasible a skills/trade test exercise, which will be monitored and assessed by a Culinary Director for the Asset Management company.
Some venues, do have live-in accommodation, so please specify on your application if this is required.
You will be working at potentially 4/5 star Hotel venues, delivering your food creations to 1/2 rosette level. Working with a talented brigade of chefs, utilising the best local produce/suppliers, excellent work/life balance, new kitchen, and excellent remuneration on offer depending on complexities of operations. There is also scope for development as the parent operation is expanding.
