The opportunity:

Global Talent 2020 are working exclusively with our luxury hotel client in the heart of London, in looking for a passionate and quality focused Food and Beverage Operations Manager for our clients multi faceted large Hotel F&B department.

The role:

Global Talent 2020 client is a very busy centrally located luxury 4 star hotel branded property. The F&B Operations Manager role will encompass the overseeing of multiple areas, that will include restaurants, bars and also have the large C&E department reporting into them. In the role you will also be responsible for the training and development of all the teams under your remit, the control of department budget, driving spend per head/profitability across the areas, implementation and adherence to brand standards, ethos, and consistency. The F&B Operations Manager will also ensure that guest engagement, and service levels are also looked to be maintained, and exceeded where possible. In a crowded market, it is desired that the F & B Operations Manager is innovative and creative in a challenging market, and keeps things “fresh” with the services outlook, and the staff’s adaptability. Driving standards in the C&E and consistency again of delivery is also a key performance indicator for the role. There will also be an expectancy on also recruiting for the teams where required, and ensuring that these new colleagues dovetail and integrate well with the brand, and their fellow team members.

The person:

At Global Talent 2020, our client is looking for a hands on person, a true leader, with excellent first class people skills. Ideally it needs to be someone with at least 3 years in a similar role, in a multi department 4/5 star hotel. The successful candidate needs to possess a positive mindset, an approachable managerial style, and quality focused mentality. The right candidate needs to be motivated to achieve and drive standards, guest engagement levels, service/delivery consistency across all areas and have a proven track record of this in past/current roles. As a key department head, the right candidate must possess excellent commercial awareness, cost control and budgeting experience. City centre, and London experience are proffered, but our client is open for the “right fit” if above outlined criteria is met.
