Global Talent 2020 are working in conjunction with our expanding global branded client, for a General Manager for an exciting May 2021 Hotel opening. This is trendy new product offering. We have been engaged to find a highly people focused, and experienced General Manager for their new property in Milton Keynes.
Our client is looking for an astute Hotel Operations Manager or General Manager to come on board to start with the pre-opening process, building the culture, and the team from there on in. So previous experience of this would be instantly advantageous in the selection process. They are looking for someone who enjoys driving the team, likes to be guest facing, and is daily involved across all departments.
The GM also sets the guest engagement standards, leads by first example, as part of this brands core ethos. They are looking for a GM that will embody the culture of the brand and infuse the passion for the product through all aspects of delivery to the property’s customers, and through the team.
Reporting to a Regional Director of UK Operations, the General Manager will need to be a creative type, be keen to drive innovation, and able to deliver the companies and owners expectations. The General Manager will also need to be highly commercially savvy, and motivate business growth through all of the departments, the respective teams, in the current challenging business climate.
Global Talent 2020’s client, will need the General Manager to also establish the property whilst it is being readied, this means being involved in bringing in key staff appointments, IT/PMS systems, set up and implementation of brand ethos, SOP’s, Health & Safety legislative adherence, and then launch the business, utilising the marketing tools available through the brand.
At Global Talent 2020 our esteemed client is looking for a hands-on General Manager, who leads from the front. Who infuses the hotel team with their passion and positivity on a daily basis! The successful candidate must have branded hotel experience background, with 3 to 4 years’ experience at Operational or General Manager level to date as a minimum.
Ideally the candidate must be fun, possess an approachable open personality, be well organised, have previous involvement in revenue, marketing, social media understanding, Hotel opening/capex experience, recruitment and training of colleagues, SOP implementation, H&S, C&E experience, local and legislative knowledge, and domestic market knowledge, would also be highly desired by our client.
