Global Talent 2020 are working exclusively with our globally positioned Asset Management client that have opportunities forthcoming in Scotland and Ireland. We have been engaged to find a highly people focused, and experienced General Managers for their mixed property portfolios venues. These are all 4 and 5 star properties, some with spa and leisure, and a mixture of city and rural locations.
Our client are looking for experienced General Managers to come on board to start with the either pre opening process, or in a turn around phase, and moving the venue onwards. So previous experience of this would be instantly advantageous in the future selection processes. Our client is looking for someone who enjoys developing a team, driving delivery strategies, and developing the guest engagement/experiences from the outset. It is important that the right GM candidates are able to create a welcoming culture for all, and to highlight the need for attention to detail that is consistent across all levels within our clients asset portfolio.
The General Manager will need to be a creative type, be keen to drive innovation, work in unison with the asset management company, especially in the changing times we live in currently. The ideal General Manager candidates, will also need to be highly commercial, and motivate business growth through the heads of departments, and their respective teams in the current challenging atmosphere.
Our client at Global Talent 2020, will need the General Managers to also re-establish the properties whilst asset management company is involved on the owners behest, this means being involved in bringing in key staff appointments, IT/PMS systems , set up and implementation of brand ethos, SOP’s, Health & Safety legislative adherence, and then relaunching the business where required, utilising the marketing tools available through the brand/owners.
At Global Talent 2020 our esteemed Asset Management client is looking for hands on General Managers, who leads from the front, and infuses their hotel teams with their passion and positivity on a daily basis. The successful candidates must have either city centre, or rural full service Hotel experience of 100 room plus, and also used to working with brands, or an strong large independent. Ideally the candidate must have previous 4 /5 star hotel experience. The right General Manager candidates need to have had at least previous 5 years experience at a hotel General Manager level.
The successful candidates will need to demonstrate from the outset their engaging personality, people soft skills, and track record of achievements within similar like for like environments. Scottish market or Irish market experience would also be highly desirable, but is not a deal breaker, if the candidates have a proven city centre, or rural experience elsewhere.
Our client is offering a competitive salary package dependent on experience, and the property asset in question.
In addition to the base salary, there will be an attractive bonus scheme available, and pension scheme. As part of your role you will also receive a company mobile and laptop if required. There will also be a 28 day holiday structure in situ.
