The role:

Global Talent 2020 are proudly working with one of Scotland’s leading Bar and Restaurant clients across their stylish appointed venues. Our client has won the Sunday Times “Best Top 100 Companies to Work For”, 5 years in a row.  Our client is looking for a passionate Relief Head Chef for their quality-focused food operations across the East and West coasts of Scotland. It will require leading close, dedicated Kitchen brigades, in varying sized, and complexity of venues, producing high-level popular food concepts across the restaurants, and bar areas of this cosmopolitan, vibrant, and aggressively growing business. In this exciting, varied role, you will also be heavily involved in new projects, setting up new venues, opening new venues, and supporting as required with your expertise, skills, knowledge, and Kitchen management experience. The role also offers the option to work a set 48 hr week. There are secure plans to double the business by 2025, so further career progression is definitely available!

The person:

Our passionate client at Global Talent 2020, is looking for an experienced Relief Head Chef talent in the kitchen. Someone who will be highly approachable, adaptive, very well organised, possess a positive out-going personality, great people skills, has a “can-do” mentality, and drive diverse teams. The ideal Relief Head Chef candidate must have had prior experience working in a volume food-led business, specifically with high street experience. Be able to demonstrate good all-around culinary technical skills, set/up the opening of new projects/units, and possess excellent first-class kitchen management skillsets, whilst being willing to grow, train, and develop brigades with this ambitious, expanding organisation. All Chef applicants will need to be able to demonstrate their technical abilities at the 2nd interview stage, and be flexible about traveling, so a car owner is a must for this role.
