Global Talent 2020 are excited to be working with one of Edinburgh’s leading Bar and Restaurant operators at their beautifully appointed venue in the heart of the city. This busy venue is looking for a passionate Sous Chef for their quality focused restaurant operations.
The Sous role is part of a large, dedicated Kitchen brigade, producing high level, fresh, popular food menus across the main restaurant, lounge, and bar area of this trendy flagship venue.
The role also offers the to work a strictly set 4 days on, 3 days off rota, as our Client wants to ensure the best work/life balance for its brigades.
Our long-established client at Global Talent 2020, is looking for a growing Sous Chef talent in the kitchen or is open to interest from a proven Junior Sous, looking to step up to Sous level. Someone who will be always readily approachable, have a positive can-do mentality, be communicative, sound leadership skills, and possess a desire to grow, as the business is ever evolving, and there will be continued career opportunities.
The ideal Sous Chef candidate must have had prior experience of working in a volume food led quality Restaurant, specifically with high street experience. You must be able to demonstrate good all-round culinary technical skills, whilst managing costs, Food GP%, whilst also, training and developing others within the team.
All Chef applicants will need to be able to demonstrate their technical abilities at interview stages.
