The role:
Global Talent 2020 are proudly working with one of Edinburgh’s leading high-end casual dining Restauranteurs. at their beautiful historic venue in the heart of the city. Our client, known for culinary excellence and quality, has earned awards and a respected position in the market over many years.
Set in a central city location, our client is looking for a passionate Head Chef to lead their quality-focused food operations. It is leading a close, dedicated Kitchen brigade, producing high-level popular food concepts across the main restaurant of this recognised venue. Mainly delivering lunch, dinner, and event services. There is also a high level of private dining throughout the year to showcase their rosette-level culinary expertise.
The role also offers the option to work 4 days on and 3 days off a week, working with the best sustainably sourced produce.
The person:
Our passionate foodie client at Global Talent 2020 is looking for an experienced Head Chef in the kitchen. Someone who is approachable, has a positive outgoing personality, and possesses a “can-do” mentality, and leads a close-knit team.
The ideal Head Chef candidate must have had prior experience working in a volume food-led kitchen, cooking with the pick of fresh ingredients, specifically with one to two rosette culinary experience, and also experience of high-end event delivery. You must be able to demonstrate good all-round culinary technical skills. Be able to grow, train, and develop the brigade with this quality-focused organisation. Leading them in making memorable food experiences for its discerning customers.
All Chef applicants will need to be able to demonstrate their technical abilities at the interview stage.
