Assistant Manager
Global Talent 2020’s client will require the Assistant Manager to support the senior Management team, in leading the diverse teams across the Musselburgh site. This well-appointed food and drink concept will require an Assistant Manager candidate with proven hands-on restaurant operational experience. You will need to be comfortable in being very customer-facing, and lead by example. Possesses an eye for detail, good commercial nous, comfortable being on the operational floor, and possess excellent people soft skills. You will manage the staff across all front/back of house restaurant and bar areas as required when on shift. Some clear understanding of stock controls, cellar management, health &safety, being able to train and coach the development of others, understanding an Epos system, as well possessing first-class communication skills are prerequisites for this exciting fast paced new role.

Our client is recruiting for a Head Chef to lead and join their exciting new Kitchen operations and assist in the opening of the venue in October/November 2024. This modern and progressive Asian street food brand have 45+ sites across the UK already and this will be their third venue in Scotland. 95% of the food is freshly made on site and the excellent menu is prepped daily, with a variety of techniques used to bring the wonderful flavours of Vietnam to your guests.
